Just received the racks via UPS.
I was pleasantly surprised at how light the racks are, as they are made from steel. I have been wary of aluminum racks, after hearing many accounts of breakage.
The racks come with a 3 yr warranty. Tubus states in the paperwork that they will ship you replacement parts anywhere in the world (doesn't say anything about $$, so I'm guessing it is part of the warranty.)
Got both racks from Wayne who sells them on e-bay for $160 shipping included (maybe that was Colorado only), which is $20-$40 cheaper than any other source. Wayne@thetouringstore.com or wayne@baysell.com He is very good with communication and shipping.
I will report later on how they handle with panniers.
