Has anyone noticed that cycling makes you more fit to perform other tasks?

Granted, the muscles are specific to cycling and one might be tired from riding a lot, but I think my fitness level from cycling has
made me more effective in other areas of life.

My attitude is more positive. My strength is definitely higher.

I remember how Chris (aka "Fatal Justice") had a neighbor that called the police on him, suspicious that he was on drugs. Not too strange, I think, however. My cycling has given me a new stamina that might appear to sedentary folks as "drug induced."
Chis used to ride long distances on his bike. I can see why people don't understand that, but it's part of the fitness that comes with cycling!

A few days back I had to drive to work for the first time in ages.

I felt so drained and lethargic.

Cycling to start the day gives me the energy to keep going. The fitness it makes me more able to carry out a lot of other tasks.

Well, after I finally got used to the sudden increase in exercise I was getting, yes, I did notice a difference. I found I had more endurance during back-to-back ultimate games with no subs, and I've found that the bike commute into work can make a huge difference in my stress levels during the day.

I suspect I'd get similar benefits if I did the equivalent amount of some other kind of aerobic exercise instead, but cycling makes my life easier in so many ways that it's easy to make the effort to fit it into my life.
