Hi everyone. Cycling has been a hobby at various times in my life and in July I will be moving to a house that backs onto an extensive bike trail. I'd like to resume cycling by buying a decent and comfortable bike. The idea of an electric hub motor for those big hills seems intriguing (hope this isn't sacrilegeous!). Now 58, I had polio as a child, which weakened my left leg.

Welcome kb, I am also an Etobicokian, lived here for 43 yrs, am 50 in a couple of months, I ride the humber river trail almost every morning from Spring to Fall from Albion Rd. to the end (Humer College), its a nice easy ride with no serious hill climbing since it follows the river. Where in Etobicoke are you moving to, I'm at Islington/Elmhurst area?

To Raymore Park (Scarlett and Lawrence). I believe the trail goes right down to the lake.

Yup it does, goes right down to the lake, then you can take the Martin Goodman trail right to
Ontario place, makes a nice Sunday afternoon ride, enjoy!
