Power slides & stoppies on an off-road tandem without a stoker (or your inflatable date) are easy.
Now, if he was riding THE TANDEM on the rear wheel down Fulton Street, that would be impressive.
However, having seen unicyclists doing technical single track, the rest of the antics are just foolish ways of reaffiming to the public that bikes are just toys that don't belong on public roads.
Well I thought it was cool. Thanks for posting.

Bikes are toys. Bikes are transportation. Bikes are athletic devices. You guys take life to seriously.
Thanks Matt.

Well....
I understand Mark’s point as we really don't need to encourage the lunatic fringe or further the debasement of our beloved sport.
And, the tandem tricks were not as good as the wheelies through San Francisco traffic.
I liked the crash landing best…..
Was that Raiyn on the tandem? I only ask because I thought that was his girlfriend on the back. :D Just kidding. My wife even found that clip entertaining.
I thought it was cool riding. thanks.
This thread's worth revisiting.

awesome!
I wanna see a wheelie on a tandem, though i dont think the stoker would like that and it would require some serious counter leaning.
