Aerow

I recently read an article about how much power one would save by using disc wheels, due to the amount of wattage it takes to push a conventional wheel laced with regular spokes.
Can someone please provide some feedback from personal experience of going from a conventional spoked wheel to a wheel with aero spokes or a disc wheel?
I am a triathlete and I just purchased a new bike (Giant TCR2.) It is a very fast bike, but I noticed that the Mavic wheels seem to generate a lot of wind while on my trainer. How much would I benefit from aero dynamic spokes, blade wheels like the Spinergy or HED3, or a disc wheel?
Also, can I have my Mavic wheels re-built with aero spokes? Would that be a less expensive way to get a similar effect?
Thanks!
