I'm a roadie with legs that I keep shaved and I'm wondering if anyone has info as to how much better it would be if I let the hair grow? Will it add to the airspace inside my tights? Let me know as it's getting colder.

I thought the whole idea of shaving was for aerodynamics. If you are wearing tights there would be no aerodynamic benefit to shaving so it would just be extra hassle. I doubt that it would make your tights significantly warmer, but it's easy enough to try.
I've never tried shaving my lets but I've always understoon that shaving your legs is mainly a benefit if you crash because it'll keep the wound cleaner if there's no dirty hair in the way.
Either way, I think it'd be warmer not shave your legs but if you find tights all itchy and stuff then keep your legs shaved I guess. I wear longohns and under cargo pants when I ride in the winter with hairy legs. Btw, yes I am a boy.
