Does anyone have any ideas on how to mount a red rear blinkie light? The problem is that I have a rear rack attached so I cannot post it to the seatpost. Any suggestions??

Reflectors have standardized brackets with two holes. Most blinkie lights have matching holes for reflector brackets. If your rack didn't come with a reflector bracket, you can usually pick one up at a bike shop for a few bucks. Failing that you can make a bracket out of a piece of angle iron and some bolts.

I use a zip-tie to hold the clip, and then a piece of duct tape to make sure it cannot slip off the clip. Simple, works.

Most blinkies come with a horizontal mount clip as well. If it doesn't, but your rack still has holes on a rear facing plate you could mount it to that. At any rate, it shouldn't be too hard to make one fit.

VistaLite make a great 5 LED Blinkie for the back of your rack.... It is nice and flat and mounts easly with the screw that comes with the light. You just need the rack mounting bracket.

Do you have room for a seat bag or wedge? Most of them have a fabric loop sewn on to clip a light to. That's what I do, with the seat bag dedicated to only the repair kit.
EDIT-of course that will only work if whatever is on your rack isn't tall enough to block the light.

Here (http://home.mindspring.com/~rhorne/Jamis%20002.jpg) is how I have my two blinkies attached. I made a T-shaped bracket out of aluminum and it is bolted onto the rack.
My old commuter (http://home.mindspring.com/~rhorne/Raleigh4.jpg) had a seatpost mounted rack and the same blinkie setup was bolted to the back of the rack.
