General Cycling Discussion - Can someone please recomond a good LBS in Tucson?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My Mother is coming to visit me here in Lativa and I would like her to bring me a frame and some assorted parts as they are half the price in the States. Half the price!
Can anyone recomend a good LBS in the Tucson area. By good I mean honest and fair priced. Thanks.

There's quite a few great bike shops in Tucson, more than I probably know of. The one's I've delt with and would deffinately recommend are: Performance Bikes (at Broadway & Kolb), Broadway Bikes (Broadway and Sarnoff) and I've had great dealings with R&R Bikes (Campbell & Glenn). R&R had been great to me...went in not knowing much about cycling, bought my Trek from them and have been on the road ever since!!!
I've been looking around on the Net and found that Arizona Bicycle Experts at 2520 E. 6th St has what I am looking for. Although our e-mails have been a little strange to say the least. Does anyone know of the reputation of this shop? Thanks.

I love Ordinary Bike and Repair Shop at 311 E 7th St, Tucson, AZ 85705 (520) 622-6488. They are honest, inexpensive and extremely experienced. I would recommend them as the best local shop in town. I also have had good interactions with Sabino Cycles 7131 East Tanque Verde, Tucson, AZ 85715 (520) 885-3666 (although they haven't touched my bike). I haven't had any experience with Arizona Bicycle Experts sorry.

Arizona Bicycle Experts came through. They were confused on the price of a new frame I'm trying to order. They quoted me the full bike price several times. After I pointed it out to them they were very pleasent and helpful. We all make mistakes. It's a product they haven't carried yet.
I've had one dealing with these guys (I don't live in Tucson) and they were fair across the board. My Colnago riding friends in Tucson swear by them.
