where is the humor and jokes pages in the newspapers. Some times the newspapers put titles that you don't know if they are joking or what, see this one:

"Hitler's "Mein Kampf" a best seller in Turkey"

I think they call them editorials... :D

Seriously, I always get a laugh from weekly wrap-ups of police reports:

- here's a funny bike-related story:

Bike-riding thief steals chem text

A man wearing a beige and black winter jacket stole a rare book Jan. 18 from the Chemistry Library. At 7:25 p.m., the man entered the library and asked to check out the McMurray sixth edition of Organic Chemistry. Saying he only needed the book for 10 minutes, the suspect did not sign it out. Roughly 20 minutes later he stood up and ran through the library theft detection device, triggering the alarm, and fled on a bicycle. The book is valued at $100.

rare book? If it was rare it should be worth more than $100...

The police reports from small towns are expecially humorous to those of us that live in big cites.

Last time I was in Ephrata WA, the big story was that a couple of kids drove their car off the road and got it stuck, walked away and LEFT IT THERE! OMG! MANHUNT!

In my town, "Seven killed in drive-by shooting" makes the second page.
