I am very happy with my full suspention Halfway, but the lack of options for upgrades may make me think of a swap in the future. From all Folders I've seen, this is the one that looks like a nice match. Anybody with hands on experience?

yeah I had last years model ... and it rocked !!!
This years is better yet in many details... last years front fork couldnt exite me all that much, it was working, very subtle though, this years suspension fork is MUCH better... Also I like the Magura HS 33 rim brakes... I would LOVE to have the option to use disc brakes on this bike ,, but the HS 33 are a good second choice.
I dont like this years beam saddle and the seatpost which comes with it, as it is not interchangeable with regular saddles. but thats the only mood point....
Oh by the way, you better get in line and order one right now. so You can get one of the first shipment , when it finally arrives !!!!
I rode the bike mostly on roads but also on smooth trails and it performed great .. very nimble without being tippsy and fast for sure...

I do not like it. Who need full suspensioned folding bikes? My Giant Halfway 7 speed with Brooks saddle is very comfortable. More parts mean more problems. No not this one. It's the bicycles simplicity that turned me away from my cars. :)

The Jetstream is a great bike for the money; however, if you want a bike with lots of upgrade options you should get a Bike Friday. Not only is the bike customized just for you, but it uses standard parts just like a regular bike. I have a BF Crusoe and I have never had a problem getting parts or having it fixed at the local bike shop.

BF is supposed to be coming out with a new bike better suited to commuting with a faster fold but I believe they are currently testing it with existing BF owners. It might be another year before it is generally available. You might want to inquire after it if you are interested.

jbc I dont know what you mean with specific parts on the jetstream ? Nothing real different than regular bike stuff on the jetstream for sure.. Definitely nothing that exotic a regular bike shop cannot fix....
And what part is specific Dahon/Jetstream ,,,, versus what "standard " Bike Friday ???
Help me out here ..
Thanks Thor
