I have the chance to buy a 1996 trek aluminum zx series 1400 with a complete shimano rsx package. along with the bike i will get a cateye mighty 3 cyclocomputer the total for the bike is $35 also the gears and components are in great working order. please let me know.

Does the bike fit you? If so, go for it, $35 is a great price for a first bike.

i forgot ot add the although it is not a "fit" by shop standards the bike fits quite well about 1.5 in between crotch and bar.

Who cares if it fits! It's $35! Buy it, and if you don't like it then you can always sell it on ebay for much more that you paid for it.

Are you insane?! (just joking). Get on it man, for $35.00, itis worth more than that in parts.

Don't be surprised if somebody else snagged it while you were thinking about it.

i did some research and called numerous lbs's and the all said that used the bike is still worth $400.00 - $500.00. so i snapped it up
