I am relatively new to cycling and i just joined this forum. While I have found it extremely helpful, i have observed that some members seem to be agitated at newbie questions. Is it possible to have a seperate forum for newbies that contains "commonly aksed questions" threads? For instance I just found some great archived threads about tires and saddles directed at newcomers. It would be great to have these "biking basics" threads all in the same place so new riders don;t constantly ask all the same questions.

But that's what the search function is for....

If you can't find something via search, you can also post a new thread. People only get agitated when it's obvious someone hasn't done any work themselves to get an answer. In other cases, just ignore them.

Yeah, too many of these guys get sick of seeing the seeing the same threads over and over again for 10 years+. (I can't blame them)

The search function works most of the time, but sometimes you just don't want to sift through endless threads looking for an answer buried somewhere in one of them.
