Ok, so I have a big head. expecially, it's pretty long, so a normal helmet fits, but rides pretty high.

Does any place have really larger-than-normal helmets? at one time, I calculated my hat size.. I could again if it would be any help.


I should add that I think this is mostly a matter of appearance, and that I think that my current helmet would protect me fairly well.

We sell that at our shop but I think it's called the Bell King Head.

I have a 7 3/4 hat size. I ride in Giro helments. The Pnuemo and E2 fit me fine. It depends on if your head is round or oval. The Specialized helmets fit oval heads better.

I have a 61CM melon and any XL helmet fits... I would think that one that has the ratchet thing on the back would help????

I have a big gourd. I had a King Head for a while but it wasn't comfortable. I second the Giro recommendation.

I have a hard time finding a helmet that fits. I currently have a specialized S1 helmet XL. I think it still looks like an ice chest with the way it sits on my melon. I even had to custom order my cowboy hat.

I've got a very large melon, and the large Bell X-Ray fits me great. The Bells seem to run really large. I wear an XXL Leedom ski helmet.
