Mine was that heavy but I adjusted to it. You just have to get some freakin' muscles people! Better to start too heavy than too light. If you start too light then your liable to break stuff quicker.

34 pounds is not even close to heavy. I had a 45 pound bike when I was in high school.
34 is ok. that bike is decent, but have a look at some Fit bikes, or Federals...

Yeah I was looking that the one yesterday. it looks pretty good i guess, i have heard volume is a pretty good brand?
