Just a reminder, I have been away from MTB's for about 10 years and just started riding again in November.

So I'm on my local singletrack, which consists of 3 loops (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). I'm riding the advanced loop on Friday for the first time and loving it. Lots of fun switchbacks, log crossings, small rock ledges, bridges, etc.

I'm about 100 yards from the hub when I see a bypass up onto narrow log. I'm bouncing around quite a bit at this point and didn't look too far ahead. Before I know it, I'm riding down a series of log halves that looked about 8" wide (probably a foot, but it looked narrow). There were 3, ten foot sections in an open z shape, all about a foot off the ground. I'd never ridden anything like this and cleaned the whole thing before I realized what I was doing. I'm bringing my camera next time; who'd have thought this cool trail system could be found just outside of Atlanta?

I bet the next time I fall right off since I'll know what's coming!

Cool Akak, way to go on cleaning the skinny. When you don't have time to think and you ride successfully by instinct, it's a great confidence booster.

I still bet you don't clean it your second try, though. :D

First one is pure instinct.

Second time you think...thats when it sucks until you learn to leave up to instinct. don't ever think during a ride, you will be a better rider for it.

Future reference, you rode your first 'skinnie', congrats
