My wife and I are looking for an Adams Ultimate Tandem to tow two kids ages 8 and 9. They are to big for the trailer and can't keep up when we really want to ride. They ride their own bikes on sunday afternoon leisure rides. I saw a picture of teh Ultimate Tandem but can't find information on it. If anyone has one for sale or has othe suggestions that I am unaware of please help us out. Thanks, Michael

I recently purchased one after a year or so of looking. They're no longer made so you have to look for a used one. They pop up on ebay from time to time and sell in the $400 range. Shipping can be a lot.

Another thought -- 8 and 9 are awfully big for the Adams. Weight limit is 110 lbs., or half the weight of the rider of the "tractor" bike, whichever is less. You may need a real tandem bike.
