It's a fork with only one leg QR , had a special hub includes that bolted from one side only...
It may be a collectors item because so many broke , Lyn Kastan (founder of Redline) had a gimic that sold a bunch but probably caused more injuries than first place finishes . I bet someone would give you some good $$ for it , but NEVER ride them .
Single swingarms go on the back of motorcycles , not the front of bmx bikes .
It may be rare, but I doubt it has any value. Take it into your local Cannondale dealer on April 1, and say "Can you warranty my Lefty please?".

Tell that to eBay.
Rarity alone does not make a collectible. If there's value in something representative of the foibles of Linn Kastan, then it may have some value. He should put in on ebay, and hope that PT Barnum's words ring true.

Please. People drop nearly (and sometimes more than) a grand for the old POS Hutch three-piece cranks, and those are way easier to find than these forks, and not nearly as unique.
I don't disagree. My neighbor is a few years younger than me, and we've both discussed the ridiculous prices for old parts, as we both want to build a BMX like we had when we were kids. He's choking on a grand for an original Loop Tail for his son. The cranks make sense for someone building a "Correct" bike. I just don't think anyone is going to have fond recollections of the fork that broke on them, and rush out to pay a big wad of cash for another. It's only an opinion, I could be wrong.
