hi as alot of u know i am buying the huffy thanks for ur help on that. any way some kids came at me today trying to beat me up. and i would like to know some moves that i can use to gain speed or slef defense (such as easier ways to dicth) these kids are very fas and almost busted my rear derailer any way if any one has tips other then call the police plz post them here to help me out.

Are you talking about on a bike? Were you in a bike chase with these kids? You could try going off-road just for a minute to get them away from you, or find a place near you where you can ride to where no one would want to follow you, like a steep downhill or something. If that doesnt work you could always put a pipe on ur bike so it looks like a pump then whip it out if they come near you, only draw back to that is that if they steal that from you, you could be in for a lot of pain.

Hmm... either have some pepper spray handy or just pedal like hell.

Last time, me and my friend were chased by two 1m85 guys, really big, and all I could do was pedal, FAST.
We were waiting at a red light when he's like "Dude, look at those two guys." I could sense he was nervous but I just looked in the direction in which he pointed and saw two unshaven hobos, so I didn't see what he was so jumpy about. Suddenly, he changes direction, ready to go. I was still kinda "What's going on?". Then my friend just went:
"... Go... GO! GO GO GO!!" We both shot off. I went nuts, just pedalled, nearly hit some vegetable stands, my mate went one way, I went the other, 3 mins later I phoned if he was OK.
Probably his Trek Bruiser 1 with Hydro Disc that drew the attention (doubt they wanted my walmart bike :p)

bike chase i pedled like hell and they had some friends block me while the tried to hurt me i ran them over with my bike and ran into a place where my friend worrks and orderd a thing of fries. ne way he new they were gonna beat me up so he made them leave the restraunt luckly but thats not always the case. a tear ago some one knocked me into a creek punched me in the face and stole my diamond back now im stuck with horrible x-mart bikes
