i have read many different opions and i think that i might get the redline mega x
The parts look pretty god but I really dont know anythin about "redline" the company
any help with be appreciated

i rode a redline single x for awile and was happy with it... but i'll let some real bmx guys tell you.... i dont know much on the bmx scene, just mtb

Redline's been making bikes since way before your parents made you. They were a local company where I grew up in SoCal. The company's been sold since then, but they still turn out good bikes. I only race BMX, don't do freestyle or tricks, so I don't feel qualified to offer advice there. I can tell you that the bike you mentioned is spec'd out nicely, and from a good company.

What, exactly sucks about Redline? The fact that you don't like them, or is there some material reason?

i dont like the company but they do have some good riders now. but its all up to you. it has some alright parts in my opinion.

I used to ride Redline back in the day, (25 years ago) although I broke alot of Proline frames, I really have nothing bad to say about their current bikes. The component spec on the model you mentioned is great for a stock rig. The bike as a whole would be a good machine for your application.

i had a 2004 complete redline almost like the one your thinking about getting, I really liked the frame, the only things i had problmes with were, i Bent the forks in the same place my friend bent his redline forks, Mine had the Monster cranks and the spindle band and was twisted after about a year, the grips sucked badly, and I hated the tires.
