Hey guys back again look I hate the hfx 9 levers and I want to convert to levers like Avid speed dial 7's or the SL levers are these compatible with the hayes hfx 9 calipers? If not, what is compatible?I hate these levers and I need better ones under 80.00 please help thanks.

Any suggestions for levers? Hello everybody?

No. Unfortunately the hfx9's are hydros, so not compatible with cable actuated. I am not 100% sure, but you should be able to buy hayes mags lever and lever bodies.
I don't even think anyone even bothers to make aftermarket hfx9 levers. I know hayes offer a carbon version of hfx9's levers, I find them find for my xc bike, stiff and reliable so far.
You gotta give us longer than 13 minutes to respond, sheesh.

No, not the metal part I want to replace the whole thing like the whole lever itself not just the part you grab but the part that is attached to the handle bar.

Yep. Reread what I said. If you want to run the avid levers you would need to replace the entire brake.
Again I am not sure if Hayes mags lever/body will fit the hfx9 hose. You might be stuck just replacing the lever itself (unless you have 200$ lying around to buy new brakes)

Look buddy you did not have to get smart with me. I need to replace my master cylinder because hayes hfx nine's master cylinder suck. And just for the price, I have money and didn't I mention a maximum price of 80.00? Maybe I can go higher. Never get smart with me again.

That is something you are never going to live down, just live with it and learn to shrug it off.
Never get smart with me again.
:roflmao: Or what? You threatening me now? :roflmao:
You come on here and ask to replace a hydro lever with a V-brake lever. Learn to take a joke, beyond that read maelstrom's posts.
