Hey, just stumbled across these forums. I finally got my hands on a beater road bike...converted to a single speed. Road bikes are a hot commodity around here. Moved to Gainesville a few years ago for school but now I spend the majority of my time riding around in a van in a touring band. The thing I look forward to the most when coming home is the idea of zipping around town on the bike.

Howdy from another Gator! It's been a while since I have been in Hogtown (I graduated from UF back in ....ummm....errrr....1989!), but I still have fond memories of the place. My sister still lives there, she works at Shands (where I worked when I was there).

I too just found this forum and joined. I am currently living in Belgium but am about to move back to San Antonio, Texas this summer. I moved to Maryland for about five years after graduation, then went off to Germany for four years, from there we moved to San Antonio for three years, then here in Belgium for three more, and as I said we are now going back to Texas. Needless to say I haev been able to ride in all those places, Europe is more bike-friendly but the weather is better in Texas!

Anyhow, looking forward to a good year of football with Urban Meyer at the helm! Go Gators!
