Er, once I caught a 220 pound tuner but I hadda trow it back 'cause it was a piana tuner.
Today I met a fisherman who hadn't had a bite all day so I bit him.
I'll tell you, it was that long! I never saw a fish like that!
I believe you.
Clem and his brother Clyde decide to go fishing. So, they wake up at the crack of dawn, get into their rowboat and head out to their favorite spot on the bay. Clyde is rowing and Clem is forward.
Well, they fish all morning and get nary a bite. Then they see a stranger in a boat that is full of fish. Clyde asks him, "Say, Friend! Where'd ya catch all those fish? The stranger replies, "You go up that creek over yonder and when the water turns fresh that's where they are."
"Thank ya kindly!"
So Clyde says to Clem, "Why doncha dip that there bucket in the water and give it a taste every once it ta see when we git ta the fresh water."
"Ok," says Clem.
'Bout ten minutes later Clyde asks, "How's the water?"
Clem says, "It is pretty salty."
Another ten minutes or so goes by and Clyde asks, "How's the water now?"
"Still salty!"
Fifteen minutes later Clyde asks again, "How 'bout now, Clem?"
"Well, it's still a might salty."
This is repeated many times over several hours.
"Still salty," was the refrain.
Finally, in the late afternoon, they get to the head of the creek where there is a marsh.
Clyde says, "It's a startin' ta git dark 'n we can't row no futher! What about that water?"
Clem says, "It's still a tad salty but it's good we can't go no more 'cause the bucket's just 'bout empty!"
