Recumbent - Why you should not get a recumbent

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I agree completely! Keep things simple and avoid unnecessary distraction--or was that detraction. Worse yet are recumbent trikes. Definitely do NOT go there.

:D That was funny. Sue's a nice lady. She used to post a lot on a.r.b.r. until it really went downhill.

bent = surrender

sorry that athletic endeavors are often unlike laying on the couch or watching american idol in your laz-boy recliner.

what's next, go to a running forum and start a subgroup riding segways because "running isn't as comfortable as just standing"?

or maybe start a tee-ball forum at espn's MLB forums?

or lifting weights, dOOd that totally hurts!

comfort at all costs!

Lot of benters like the LAZYboy style that recumbent riding offers. Thick seat pads go with the LAZYboy seat. Kind of like a Schwinn cruiser with the padded fur seat. Comfort, walking, recliner riding and PBJs are the way to go for some folks who pedal around their neighborhood.
