I am looking at getting mountain bikes for myself and wife for our 10 year Ann. I am looking at teh Giant Yukon and the Trek 4500. Both come with disc brakes but I can get the Trek without. Both have the same derailores.
The vast majority of our riding will be casual with the kids. I will also use it for fitnes but will not be riding courses or racing. Mostly trails and oil roads in state forest land. Does anyone have any opinions or info on these two bikes for what I want to do with them? Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.
