i am buying a 05 giant iguana, ok now for my question will i be ok upgrading it with a sherman front fork and upgrading to some dh rims?

or is this just a stupid idea?

Well with that upgrade I assume you are dhiller and freeriding. I wouldn't do it, the frame isn't meant for abuse, especially on that level.

not freeriding yet no, will buy a new biike when i get there, wanting dh rims because im a larger rider and want to ride some pretty serious trails, and the sherman is just a fork i particularily like...

nm just returned from LBS and got a good deal on a haro extreme so the question is now irrelevent.
