Barracuda... knew that name sounded familiar. They make some mountain bikes that are of reasonable quality and after a quick look on Google I found ONE low quality photo of the Trick 1. It doesn't look horrid and seems far better than Wal-Mart crap, but without specs I can't say that it is better than your average Haro or DK. The design puts the rear brakes on the chain stays and it looks like it lacks any of the new designs that are more common with new bikes.
I would stay away from any company that doesn't maintain a website and isn't in the BMX business as it's major revenue source. A mountain bike company typically is pretty clueless when it comes to making (or wanting to make) a good bmx bike.
In Europe, you may be able to find some really good stuff from Dragonfly for a good price. What other European brands are there? Hard to tell where you are from, but sounds like the UK. Makes a difference on your cash flow area.
How much do you have to spend? Why are you against a new bike? Why (oh dear lord WHY!!!???) would you want 'an old school looking' bike? Old school is great for collecting, not riding. Get a bike that is properly designed if you plan to actually ride it. If your main goal is to ride around winking at girls and saying "Look how cool I am!" - then get a car. :)
if u want old school then go on ebay and look at the hutch frameset u cant really get much old school! as for a new bike im on a hoffman rythym now and love evry bit and worth evry penny of the £230 price tag

I had one of those, way back when. Decent enough for a cheap bike shop bike.
