fellow commuters and bikers, especially new york bikers,
noah budnick, of transportation alternatives, dedicated to promoting bike riding in nyc, was hit earlier today coming off the manhattan bridge on the brooklyn side. for those of you who don't ride it (i do daily), the bridge connecting the two has its cons (separate bike lanes, etc) but its tragic cons (it ends, on both sides, into one way streets with fast moving vehicles). see the release here: http://transalt.org/press/releases/050330NB.html .. this is truly a sad day for bicycle advocacy.
