I looked around for info on servicing Look pedals, all I got was a warning about using the correct "lockring tool".

Anybody get away with greasing Look pedals with "normal" tools.....?

Thanks

Dear DB ( ;) ),
Though I haven't used it yet, I did get my LBS to order me the tool. It was only $2-3. Unless you are in a hurry, you might just get your LBS to order one. It is such a low demand item bike shops don't carry it, and I couldn't even find one online.

Raymond

Hey guess what, even if you are "kind of" careful, you can easily deform the Look pedal shaft by mounting it in a vise without a special "lockring tool".....

Well those pedals were worn anyway....

I know when you buy a look pedal in a box it comes with a wrench to do minor repairs or greasing the pedal or thightening , and then it dawn at me I haven't seen my look wrench for quite some time, so now I am missing those wrench and anyways I am thinking of buying a new look pedal...

Be fore-warned, it's a "can of worms".
