what is a flocked logo?

i believe a logo that is made from the same material as the felt lettering. it's not sewn on but held on with some heat activated adhesive. like the puffy-lettered t-shirts people wore in the 70s...

Keith, any chance those wheels are in? :D

I know... I'm such a bother... sigh.
Har Har Har. What do you think I do? Supposedly run a bike shop? Oh Yeah.....I do. Crap. No good news there. I am calling him now. I have a loaner wheel for you if you are stuck.

if we get enough guys / gals interested you won't need to pay that much. far from it.

Next track day: I get Fridays/Saturdays off. I'd love to head down as soon as possible.
Alleycat: Oh man ... that's tempting. Too bad I'd get pwned but it sounds like a blast.
Jerseys: I'm in for at least one. Let's try not to make them tacky.

HAHAHAHA. Hey Sweep....you want to take this one?

Aw yes the North American classic Tasmanian devil, emblem of excellence & on a fixed gear hmm
You know the non smoking sings you see with a red circle with a line through it; most shops have this in the front window with old taz replacing the smoke. You may have a hard time finding someone to do it. I think I have a sewing needle and thread around ,I may need some Indian ink though.
LOL. All in good fun mate.

no, just custom lettering, more vintage looking:

I'll do some digging on a patch think that would be the coolest? on your bag somewhere. not much of a jersey guy a t would be great. My 2 cents.

My patch idea, a logo in the background maybe a fixed wheel or bike. Lettering would be something like?

Update from Mike @ Forest City:

Let's look at this Wes - the first Sat in July is July 1st Canada Day. My wife would kill me if I took off to the track for the day.
How about 8th or 15th?
Let me know and I'll check with the track Bossman to see if I can have the track 10-2pm on those dates.

Here's the deal, to save me hours of e-mailing, YOU have to provide me with a class. I need at least 4 and a max of 8 but I'll take your 9 group.
If too many of you back out (to take us below 4) I'll have to cancel it.

Ok, the ball's in your court.

--------------------------------------

What do y'all think? If operator can't make it until August, I ain't waiting. Sorry dude. :)

Well, you have boobs and most of use are pretty scrawny, so I'd say it's a safe bet that your jersey will fit someone else if it just refuses to fit you.

Edit: wait, I had that wrong in my head. girl + boobs = scrawny no-chest guys ... or something. *sighs, gives up*

true that.
I guess shelling out a bit more for custom would be def. worth it. especially w/ the super coolness factor! :)

Btw,
I have a HUGE favour to ask of BF members. I've convinced my friend into trying out fixed. But he’s short on money and he’s leaving for Brazil at the end of the month. I have everything he needs except for a fixed wheelset.
So I was wondering if it is possible to rent a fixed wheelset from anyone here for about two weeks?
Anything will do.
Thanks!

STEEKER, that would be wicked if we get a nice big group of people out on the spit with your telescope for some stargazing.

Is anyone going to the alleycat on saturday?

When I got home I tightened up my BB and now that infernal creaking is gone.

I want to get a track bike and start racing at the velodrome. :D

Hmmmmm. thats odd. My Fuji rep here in Toronto has told me they do not have any more Fuji Track model's and will not be getting any more this season. When did you order it? I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed. Are you getting it local or online?

niice... I'm gonna work on some different bike/wheel/cog configs as graphics then the text. There's a fixie gallery site with an awesome bike drawing. So simple but well executed.
I like the across the shoulder tat...that's where my "Rude Boy" should go for me. Also in gothic.

I saw some awesome metal looking stuff on a guys elbow a few years ago..... I can't afford that super kinda work. I'd love to create some cybernetic looking stuff using shadows to create depth and relief.

Steeker ... why you want a sock company across your back though? just teasin' G.

I'll check with my wife as to some more reasonably priced athletic wear.
Can we submit files to the wool jersey people for the logos? Nice shirts.
(personally I'd rather get some form of tech wear screened locally, but that's just me.)

The gf just went in to approve her next tattoo design a few days ago. It's a full back piece that'll be going up onto her shoulder/around her ribs to the front as well. Old Japanese watercolour style of song birds sitting on tree brances with some of the leaves blowing off (that'll be the part that goes around her body).

First session is in July - 7 hours straight (damn, woman).

Pseudo examples of style:

That's what I'm talkin about! That is sweet Sweep. What did that cost ya? Altho I still think a unicorn or dolphin would be more suitable.:p

Unicorn with wings next go round haha got both done for a very reasonable 160.00 spiral & bike @ fine line tattoos (thanks Maggie) on Kingston rd.
My crank bros i need to send them a pic see if gets me a set of those new all black eggbeaters?
Cheers
