Yay. I will stop by Cavern soonlike.

Offhoff, how old are you turning? Actually, how old is everyone? Unless it doesn't suit a lady to tell of course.
I race Master B class. That is all I am prepared to divulge.

alright, let's get serious about this custom jersey thing. i want to put together a list of those of us who want to commit (like wes did for the velodrome visit) to spending the money on a jersey so we can get a definate numbers to determine price. reply if you are in, I'll edit the list as nessesary.

Put me down for a woolie jersey, preferably long, but short is ok if that's what everyone else wants.

A ripe old 23, my last year of early twenties, oh the memories. But then again I get to spend an absurd amount on a bike and blame it on my "quarter life crisis" soon. Heheheh.

Get me down for a jersey!

And Cavern I'll be seeing you tommorow for them new tires, glad you enjoyed the tip.

I turned 40 May 7th. As for the design I'm still mulling stuff over and will post some options ideas in the next few days.
From what I've gathered ..simple but not typical fixie stuff (cogs bars bike outlines etc). Shiz has thrown some mental fodder into the fire with his posts as well.

What size bike do you need? Sashae just put a 53 cm Nagasawa on ebay.

That just might fit me, but the Naga fan-boys will inevitably start a massive bidding war. If I were to get Japanese bike porn, it'd be a Kalavinka anyway. Thanks for the heads up though - I hadn't noticed that one.

i guess what i'll do re: jerseys is wait for traffic jammer / shiznaz to come up with a design or two, get an opinion on it here and then send a request for them to the portland cyclewear people. so far we have 7 committed, lets get 4 more and the price goes down to 46 bones.

third vote for the road morph. it's a compact pump that has a hose attached and basically functions like a floor pump; easy to get to high pressures. i like mine.

Cavernmech - i think i may stop by tomorrow at lunch or after work to scour in the basement. need a front der, perhaps an old MTB frame to build up a SS.

So what's the name of this ...."club"?

i'll let the status quo decide on the name "toronto fixed and single" "toronto fixies" etc. i'm not sure how i would work this in but i read an article in a cycline magazine recently and it had the sub-title "in velo veritas"; i really like that, i think it's really classy.

TRaffic Jammer

"in velo veritas" but what does it mean?

J.. can you toss up the linkie to your woolie once more? I'm gonna check the material specs for the logo design. I've gone and used gradients initially, so before I get too far ahead of myself, I need to check if the one colour is one solid colour or one colour ink.

i'm guessing it's a play on "in vino veritas", that famous quote by Aristotle (or was it Plato?), meaning "in wine there is truth", so "in bike / cycling there is truth". either way it's a conversation starter.

here's the link (http://www.portlandcyclewear.com/page/page/2892825.htm) to portland cyclewear; i'm pretty sure you'd have a hard time with shading and such, but you can always email the guy there and ask him.

I would be up for a wool jersey. I think the best bet would be short sleeved black and white or black and blue, but I gather you can mix colours and styles in your order. Something simple if we are embroidering:
