ps. I think OLN coverage starts at 8:30, not 8:00. Makes it a little more difficult to catch any action before work if you start at 9:00. I could go in as late as 9:30 (Summer hours), but I'm only seeing 1/3 of the coverage that way, so I don't know if I'll bother.

Is it just the rims? How good a price is it? I snagged a set of gold deep v's on eBay for 90$USD shipped, which I figured was a good deal. What size frame do you need?

The Fuji is all built up now and it rides beautifully and is very sexy, I'll take pics when I can get my hands on a camera.

Anyone up for a CV tonight?

Edit: Does anyone have a non set-back 27.2 seatpost and is willing to sell it?

Yeah just the rims. $90 usd is the going retail from online 'tailers before shipping. I can never find 700c deep v's even on ebay. None that aren't crazy expensive. The 26" versions of the ones I want are like $50 BIN for both rims. :|

Dang mountain bike stuff.

Hey Y'all - Just introducing myself. Somnambulant told me about this place...it's cool.

Presently I reside outside of the city (commence suburban slagging) - but I'm moving [back], [back] I say - to TO (apt hunting tommorow).

I've been riding a fixed for 3 months now, and...well...what the hell was I doing before?

You may spot me around as I'm in the city most days. I ride a Surly with a green CK headset and a Steamwhistle opener where a bottle cage should be :-)

I've started posting on flickr under fisso416...check my pics out.

Are you riding a steamroller?

Welcome. If you're looking for around Aug 1, there's a couple 2 bedrooms opening up in my building (read **Very cheap** although utilities are extra) which is at Dundas and Jones.

I don't slag suburbanites; I pity them their bland and homogenous existence (cue Rush Subdivisions).

Swep242 - Yah I'm on a steamroller - so far so good. I had a crash so some part are newer than others. I don't have anything to compare to...but it's been good. I spend most my time rethinking my componentry if anything.

cavit8 - I'm looking for a (1) bedroom or a bachelor...unless the price is really good ( I like that area). Re: Bland existance - yah! I don't know how to say it any other way...yah! I've been between the burbs and TO most of my life. It's now time for a permanent change.

The two bedrooms are $710 with parking, $680 without. Utilities are extra; rented hot water tank, electric base board heaters, so power bills can be high in the winter.

It is a great area. Minutes to little India or Chinatown, good coffee at the Tango Palace, my life is complete.

A new beast in the east? Awesome....
sr20det, cavit8 has some tyres.

Did you see that poor bastard yesterday getting hauled in within spitting distance of the line? Cruel, evil and heartless, another typical day at the tour. Keith....you know it was like the skies cleared after I stopped off at your place. Thank-yeas again, very nice it was. Next time I reciprocate.

I don't think it's bland. I kinda like it as a place to live as opposed to a place to crash when I was in my twenties. I love how I can walk to anything I need here. More and more good fooderies are opening all the time. Have you checked out the new cheese shoppe at Pape/Queen?

SNAP...I'm likin' that Kona!!!!

Kessler launched a bold bid for glory with 6km to go and led by as much as 12” before being caught just 50m before the line. **from the site***

With 50m left you could see him do that "F*&K!!!" head motion as the pack rumbled past.

I think Steeker is tugging.

As soon as the flag fell to signal the official start of the stage at 11.48am, two Spanish riders went on the attack. De la Fuente (SDV) and Hernandez (EUS) must not have been considered a threat and they peloton allowed them to build a huge advantage. .....with 20km to go… he was caught by Wegmann on the final climb, but earned the reward of the lead in the climbing classification. The rider in the polka-dot jersey pushed on with a solo effort and, with 10km to go led the peloton by 17”. He was caught with 8km to go. Kessler launched a bold ..... De la Fuente was out with another spaniard until 20k to go .... 208kms leading...madness

Go German rider GO!!!!! no spoilers I was told :p
McEwan...you never see him in the front gruntin' it out, the line appears and bam, he's there.

ahh.. yeah, I kind of assumed steeker was tugging our chains, but I just wanted to be sure because I hadn't heard about that.

cavernmech: Kessler wasn't one of the original breakaway. Like TJ said, he attacked 6km off the line.

TJ: yeah, you could plainly see him freaking out when he got caught. He couldn't even try to keep up at that point.. he looked like he was totally and completely out of juice.

I can usually get a good sense of the riders Touring but this year I get nothing. I'm all confused as to who's capable of what. Largely due to not paying attention to the rest of the season.
