the next track combo ...does that incl. intro to racing round and round?
english? lunch in the med sci building at 1? I was going to head over to flip, toss & thai. I have a red curry craving.
You'll have to clue me in to the good eats places near U of T. As it turned out, I had to jet and rob had to run up to some store that sold him a 3/32 cog instead of a 1/8 one.
As a ps, I *really* hate street car tracks. And slow moving big ass trucks that hog the right lane necessitating crossing street car tracks at shallow angles at speed. And I hate asphalt.

nope.. combo = level 2+3.
I think a good idea might be this:
-get a group of people together who want to do the combo AND the people who missed track 1
-everyone go out together on a saturday when there's racing
-track combo people do 2+3 in the morning
-track intro people do that in the afternoon
-everyone hang out and watch the races in the evening
I'm not sure who missed out on track 1 that want to go, however. Traffic Jammer + Ronin? Anyone else?
The race calendar is available here: http://www.forestcityvelodrome.ca/racecalendar.html. Looks like there are races every Saturday all through October, and for the first 3 weekends in November (including Worldcup trials on Nov 4).
If there's any interest in this it might be a good idea to start a seperate thread just because this one moves along a little fast to keep track of stuff directly relating to the trip.

 Well there really won't be any full or mini skate elements being built on/in my house. Flights of fancy they are, I simply don't skate anymore as the slightest mishap sends my in for surgury, I'll pass. CEpt maybe to try the luging...heehee I'm on late shiftish this week so CM is doubtful, and the alleycat is that on the actual Halloween?

Tuesday night alleycat? Interesting.
Keith, can I swing by today to get a bmx freewheel removed from a hub? It needs a Park FR-6 (big 4-prong) which I don't have.

Someone has worked their mojo and cursed me....Steeker? So many flats.... This morning, pinch flat on a big bolt lying in the road. Spare tube mysteriously has a big hole in it. Luckily I found a picnic bench in the sun for some lesurely patchwork.

The Halloween race is confirmed for Tuesday night. Don't have the confirmed time but I would assume the start will be some time around 9ish. Gettin my racin costume together.
I can get that freewheel off for you but some hubs require some disassembly to get em off. Bring it by.

Hahaha, okay ... so I just had my "wake up" music playing (ie. Sepultura - Born Stubborn). Unfortunately, iTunes was on random so with the volume cranked all the way I suddenly get Phill Collins - Two Hearts blaring out the 5.1.
Yes, I like Phil Collins. That mother****er OWNED the 80s.

If you guys ever feel like getting lunch at st. lawrence market let me know as it is 'in my hood' per-se. I don't take trhe bike out during lunch much because it means I need to get changed an extra 2 times and carry my bike in and out of the basement which is annoying. Still I've been known to do it...

i think there is a pho place there. but if you mean pho hung, the smiling cow, it's at spadina/st.andrew. their jackfruit shakes alone are worth the visit... and they've got the best noodles imho.

i heard through the gravevine that McBride cycles is going out of business and they're having a liquidation sale so if you need cheap stuff i'd suggest dropping by soon as the sale starts today at 10. i don't know the exact adress but they are on dundas west past keele.
and yes they also sell motorcycles.
shiz - if you ever want to hit the market for an early lunch let me know. my day here starts at around 7:30 so i'm often lunching (if at all) before noon.
