Who else is going to watch the racing? I think I'll be back from class around 7ish at St. George Station. Anyone feel like meeting up before hand? I'll need to stock up on coffee.

I will make a thermos or two of gluhwein for those brave enough to show up. I can't promise it will be good though as I plan to use my friend's home-made wine which I have never tried.

I think I may show up to watch. I'll bring a few brews. I might be up for meeting/riding over there. I wonder what time is best to show up. I guess 8ish. I don't think I can make too much earlier than that anyway.

Well I am York, done my assignment and bored. As I stand here (not to be a pig) I'm watching the girl in front of me. Best butt ever. Like 2 plums in a wet paper bag. And I'm wired on coffee, but thats normal. Time to go eat at Taco Bell, cheap food ftw (for you Rob).

Turns out a 105 is gonna be too short for my bike. I'm assuming the reach of 49mm is a max value. I need more like 55-60. ah well.

TJ- Thanks for the hookup! :D

I will be at the race tonight! :)

Here's a Lance for you (I only know Unigraphics and Solidworks so this will have to do) :p

where is there a taco bell on the york campus? i don't remember that. it seems that university has it's fair share of nubile young women. and all of them drove neons from what i remember.

Any type of work must be blown off for this once a year event! Bikes racing around an oval on spiked tires do not miss.
Know I had fun at the last two I went to & now that I live in no-mans land sucks to be me!

That's Jim. I work with him. He is just friggen fast in general. The type of guy who will be right next to you cranking up a hill saying hi... and then just casually says "see ya later" and takes off like it's nothing! I really like the bike with the chipped up copper-coloured paintjob and its bar setup. Flipped risers so he gets low but has a bit more leverage for riding on the ice. Also the guy with the crazy grippy tires, that's Bradyn featuring tires made by Keith. An impressive show of ice riding prowess and Keith's uber ice-tire-making skills.

Colin nice pic of the bike pile at the partay. Where did you go? I thought we were leaving at the same time but you were already gone like the wind when I got outside?

Good times last night!

Looks like I missed a good time. They did run a rubber class..bummer I like that. The chipped copper jobby is Petey's, Jim is wicked quick and smooth. I wonder if this is his dynasty, he toook last year as well. What about years previous? My buddy has some beautiful shots from Mtl's Ice Race, when I get copies I'll see if I can post them. I got one here sec.....actually i'll have to see if I can get permission to post this guy's shots first.

I made my rounds of goodbyes, went downstairs, weather proofed myself, and de-interlocked my bike from the front porch cycle-orgy. You were still upstairs so i thought you had second thoughts and stayed. I do have to admit, I am known for disappearing in a flash sometimes.

to all the bikeforums folks i chatted with last night: good to meet you! once again, putting faces to screen names is always nice.
