I'd be down if I didn't have to go to bed within the next 15 minutes. If tomorrow goes as forecast it's going to suck. Unless you're one of those people who likes thunder storms.

They're great when you don't have to ride for 8 hours a day in it.

I busted an axle in a brand new pair of those in 5 months. I would stay away.

Really? I think those are the pedals I rode for years on my mountain bike in the early/mid 90s before I switched to clipless. Except not purple ano.. :P Then again, I was probably about 135lbs back then as well. :)

I was only around 185 when I busted em. It might have been a one off but I wouldn't risk putting em on a fixie. Busted pedal axle + Fixed = New grill.

Full fenders rule but damn, I hate cold rain. That large Fiori listed on CL today is kinda nice and 100bucks is a good deal. I have too many bikes though, someone grab it.

Hey everybody...I have a bunch of free passes to an advance screening of " The Flying Scotsman" a movie based on the life of Graeme Obree. It is on April 11 at the Varsity. I have 8 passes....first come first served.

Hey Dan, pretty much all home hardwares sell a full range of electrical tape colours. I went through a phase one year where I'd make all my art projects for school out of different kinds of tape so I have some experience sourcing it. And a baguette is a loaf of french bread. you can fit about 5 of them in the cable loop of old style brake levers.

I'd be down with that! 2 would be great, one would be cool too!
Plus, I need to bring you back that rear brake, it wasn't long enough.

"54cm frame measured from floor to the top of seat tube."
Does that make any sense? What would the real measurement be?

Not unless it's a junior frame and those are 650's rather than 700's. Even a 43 cm frame centre to centre would give you a standover over, say, 69 -70 cm.
I'll guess and say it is a 54 and whoever posted it didn't know what that meant and guessed standover.

Rob, I think there's some of those 3TTT stems with removable faceplates in the back of Bikes on Wheels. Of course, the boxes may contain something other than stems, such as heroin, or cheerios. Worth checking out though.

The post has been updated to say center-to-top.
So... anyone else catch the interview with Case Ootes on CBC#1 a little while ago?
They were talking about the city budget and the interviewer asked him where on earth he could possibly make cuts to save money as he was suggesting. He gave two examples after thinking about it for a bit, the second one was "Bike lanes, there's a few million right there" Not that I would expect anything different from Ootes, but annoying nonetheless.

Oh I am SO down for a pass if there are any left! I really want to see that film.
What year do these guys live in? The '50's? A white picket fence, a big ass car and a full tank of gas for every family? Don't these people breathe? I'm at a loss. Really, I am.

Colin I didn't see the baguettes on that loaded touring bike you posted! Nice!
Charlie, I KNOW what a baguette is. Gee whilakers. Sorry for killing your joke. First I'm all like "dude what's an aero lever?", then I'm all "what does that have to do with baguettes?". Now that I understand the joke, I see that it was good for a hearty chortle.
