I was the guy with the blue fixie who was looking for a 54cm used road frame for my girlfriend and I was told by whomever I was talking to that I should go see George at Parts Unknown to see a bianchi he had.

What!
What Bianchi!
What size?
What!?

Its a bianchi forza 54cm with vertical dropouts in blue with a unicrown fork and no headset or bb. paint is fairly rough but overall in good shape. George wants 50 bucks I think.

Also they have a really nice 58cm botecchia 10 speed that I was tempted to buy. Just needs a little TLC and it would be a sweet ass ride.

So, what do you say we meet someplace at 12:00 (say, for coffee) and go for a bit of a ride and wind up at Sneaky Dee's? I'm teh suck at coming up with routes though, so if anyone else wants to handle that..? Obviously we can just ride "stream of conscience" as well and just go whereever. Which will probably mean downhill and with the wind. ;)

I have a 70's frame you might be interested in. I think it is a Gitane or LeJeune frame. 59cm seat.....60cm top. It needs paint but is pretty sweet. Nervex lugs. French thread B.B. tho so you would need a Phil B.B. P.M me if you want more details.

RE: saturday - any idea what time you keedz are planning on ending up at the Dee's? I probably won't be able to hit moonbeam for 12 as I'm helping my friend Marco get his fix on the road on saturday morning and then heading out to high-park cycle to try to find a frame for my other friend, but It'd be good to meet up and burritocize later on.

he deffinately understands tall riders. when i talked to that guy at the bike show he was towering over me, and i'm tall. he must be about 6'8". i liked the frame he built for himself. one of these days i'll get a custom frame. for now, i have to figure out what i want (and pay for school); the urbanite will have to do.

Cool. Retro 80's paint, dig it. From the picture the head tube looks strange, is it all one lug or something? So are you going to lace it fixed, SS or geared?

I'm hoping to go flipflop..it's a 48...I don't know why but I think it's going to be too small. Someone suggested funny bike. I want to use it for Gold Sprints, Ice Racing and general raging about town. It does still have the headset cup in the bottom.
