I know, he's kind of stupid about things, like not buying a bike because of its colour. Cyclemania has a nice used bike for $450, good shocks and components, wheels etc with a new frame, but wrong colour and he wants new. Lubo can build him a better one than the ironhorse, but not as good as the used one. He even told my friend the used bike is better. And Colin has his available for $500 and it is way better then anything he has looked at. Crazy. He doesn't get the fact that a good used bike is way better then the crappo sportcrap bike with promax disc brakes for the same price. He is set on a bike to only ride on trails, thus the Ironhorse. Oh well I gave my $.02 and if he doesn't take it...nothing I can do.

You've done your due diligence. The only last gasp recommendation would be to get him to test ride a couple. After that, let him do what he want but have your "told you so" card ready. I kind of like these ones:
http://postrapturepost.com/order2.html. I think I'm going to order a batch of the two in the middle.

Okay so, stage 15 of the Giro ... a bunch of guys are heading up a climb, Didi's running alongside them w/ his devil costume on. One of the guys grabs his trident and stabs the guy in front of him in the ass with it.

... that is all.

What browser do you use?

Did you buy one?

I have the M3 Simply adapter which uses a micro SD card, trying to find a browser that I can load on to it so I can be just as nerdy.

While the nerds are in the house... what do I do with a ".daa" file? Do I have to copy the image to CDs or can I run it from the hard drive? Any shareware recommendations to deal with it?

You can "Try before you buy" with poweriso's software, but not sure it'll do what you need.

Grab poweriso http://www.poweriso.com/download.htm
Free trial. It allows you to run the image from your harddrive. No burn necessary. Daemon tools (which is 100% free) also supports .daa but not all .daa images are compatible with it.

I once had this affliction I’ve broken myself of it! But the wife still has it bad. Sounds like a great day though. Even with all the driving we did today I still got on the MTB for an hour & half.

It's alright for quick stuff, but obviously screen-size is a limitation. Better than any other tiny-screen web surfing I've done, but I haven't done much. I wonder what the PSP browser is like in comparison, but I'd prefer a DS over a PSP anyway. It was $35.

Sunday morning restaurant jobs suck ass in the worst way. I made sure at the club it was part of being hired, no Sunday shifts, ever. Helps to be recruited to work somewhere when you make demands but after 3 months of eggs over medium and crispy but juicy bacon at a filler job, never again. F-off and cook your own breakfast.

Why, when I can have a low life short order cook do it? Especially when you factor in the dropout waitress clearing my dishes and the loser in the kitchen washing them.
