Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

^^^wait for it.....^^^

Under my desk lives an older SCSI based 6 Cd-rom changer Pioneer model DRM-604X.
Any hardware geeks want it? Two SCSI interfaces in the back, head phone jack in front and R/L RCA jacks for audio out in the back.

[QUOTE=somnambulant;4926016]I don't know about Bonjour Brioche, but when it comes to Clafouti, the early bird gets the croissant. They sell out real quick.

Not to mention the Pasteis da nata (custard tarts) at every bakery and corner store.

Who was it that came for the ride 3-4 weeks ago that ended with ice cream, because she ignored me this morning when I waved to her while crossing at Logan/Danforth at the Tim Hortons. And yes I was getting coffee.

It was early and I hadn't had my coffee so I missed the smile, and sarcasm is lost on the interweb especially since I don't use emocoms.

It was the bike I thought I recognized, small track with 650 wheels? I'm not sure if I should be worried that I was looking at the ride before I checked out the rider.

Hey guys, I'm back in Canada after a hellishly long and delayed train trip all the way from San Diego. Anyways, I'm starting my trip back to Toronto in 2 days so I should be back late august. I updated my blog with a ton of photos if you're curious. http://thedoublecross.blogspot.com

that definitely sounds like dom's bike - mine is 700c. my boyfriend forbids me from looking at bikes while i'm with him, he says at least if it were dudes i was checking out, it would be normal/homeostatic. :(

So due to the mtn bike racing schedule and Shizzy's imminent return, I will throw out Sept 1st as the tentative date for the East-West Challenge. There are no other events (well Ziggys mtn bike race is the same day but meh) and this gives us plenty of time to get it organized up right. Anyone have a prob with this date?

$690 to go! Thanks to all who have helped out so far, if anyone else can chip in a bit I might actually be able to pull this off. Expect daily reminders until Saturday ... I'll wear you *******s down!

$560! Okay, this is officially your last chance to offer up some money for a great cause. The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation offers all sorts of services to people living with HIV/AIDS around the GTA - everything from food bank programs, physiotherapy, emplyment assistance, et al. These are programs entirely funded by public donations that go a huge way to improve the lives of people living with a terrible illness. If anyone can pledge even $5 or $10 that's still going to buy meals for several people in the food bank program (even a little bit will make a big difference).

Okay, that's it! Sunday we're off ... the shop will be open (skeleton crew in effect) but Elaine, Phil, Sherri and myself will all be en route to Montreal for the week. If anyone needs bagels/illegal cigarettes, let me know soon. ;)

Hi guys!

I'm in Stirling/Bridge of Allan Scotland! I'm off to Manchester tomorrow, London sunday, and then Dublin next week for CMWC. I've only been here one day and I'm already ecstatic about the amazing cycling here! There are real hills. Thank dog I brought my road bike and not my track bike (am I even aloud to say that on this crazy forum?!! 'Cause I just did). I hope you guys have a great August and sorry I didn't get to say bye to many of yous but I love you all. In a platonic way. Except you Rob. See you in September! Seacrest out!

Kill em' r00d bwoyeeeeeeeeeee!!

and enjoy yourself!

Peace.

Well now that Chicken is disgraced it looks like my skinny ass has no even skinnier role model to look up to when I go up the rockies. Where can I get some of this 'Ecopure'?
