A 10 volt adapter with 1A and a positive tip. Shack had nothing, now called the Source ironically enough.

Thanks! But, I think the cable bosses on the top tube are going to give me an excuse to use my Dremel for the first time. ;)

Looks good with the red. Black & chrome go so well together.
BTW i have a black & red trim seat if interested.
Not much riding for me this weekend knocked some stuff off my to do list witch may entitle me to go out next weekend?
Cheers

Somna, two things:

1. Murderball is my favourite documentary of ... oh, let's say all time. It's the only movie/film/whatever that's actually made me cry. Yes, that makes me a huge *****-boy, but it really is an awesome documentary. Definitely check it out if you get the chance.

2. I have a red Push the Envelope top tube pad that you can have if you want a quick/easy way to cover up those braze-ons (aaand, it'll colour coordinate).

Ooooooh, diss (bonus points awarded).

How is that a diss? Yes, I rode my bike to the top of the garage. I was trying to get a shot of Baldwin as it was sunny and busy and I was on a Photography Mission. Those are two of about 40 pictures I took while up there (none of the others had bike-content :P).

Oh wait.. are you suggesting I put my bike in my car? No, that was Saturday. ;)

Also, while I was there I thought that a cool sprint race would be to race to the top and back to the bottom again in a parking garage. :)

Anyone know what the hell is going on with Toronto's trail networks?! The waterfront trail is still shut down past the CNE and now the enterence to the Don MUT (my favourite when it's quiet) is shut down until May '07. Looks like I now have to use the road all the time...

I'm not a big fan either, but I look at the fence climb as some bizarre form of cross training.

TJ - yes the midge bars are intetesting, and particuarly usefull if you set them up right (ie- higher the better), particularly on an off road bike or at least one with which you do a lot of climbing.

Anyone else use time pedals and have problems with disengagement? i've accidentally popped out of mine several times recently while grunting up steep inclines.

On a vaguely related note, anyone have experience w/ Time ATAC XEs? I've been debating those over the XSs or other brands (Crank Bros Candy SLs, Shimano M540s, etc.)

The only time I've had troubles coming out of my ATACs are when the cleats are worn and need replacing.
I'm looking at putting a cross style setup on my MTN bike. It doesn't go off road too often and I'm starting to run out of gears.

my $0.02 is that despite the issues i'm having with mine (they are a much older set of aliums) i'd still pick time over those other brands, especially crank bros as the spindles develop play in them far too quickly (they use bushings and not bearings), times seem to last longer and are easily overhauled with an allen key.
