Hi !
I'm thinking about building a SS mtb race bike.
I've got a great Bianchi frame (No horizontal drop outs so I'll probably get myself an ENO hub).
What is the best setup for this kind of bike ?
Should I go with a rigid fork or suspension ?
I would appreciate if someone with race experience will post his setup
Thanks,
Guy

i don't think "best setup" can be any more vague. i think the best race setup has to do with whether or not you pedal your pants off.

however, my roomate races his ss 29"er. it's a frame he fillet brazed, raceface cranks, open pro rims, kenda tires, stan's ghetto tubeless setup, paul hubs, white industries freewheel, white bros. fork, avid juicy's, bars he fillet brazed, yerba maté, dryer lint, cough drops, and a banana hammock. i think his preferred ratio is 32:20/18.

I would agree with the ENO, great hub. As for the other parts, that really depends on you budget and what kind of terrain you are riding. Can you shed some light on these so we can help you further?
