I am interested in purchasing either a Trek 4300 or a Trek
4500 mountain bike. From the Trek catalog the 4300 comes with
an RST fork. There is a website that talks about a recall on RST
forks: http://www.recall-warnings.com/cpsc-content-99-99080.html

Basically, the info in the above website says that the fork can break
while in use!!!

Should I be concerned if I intend to purchase the Trek 4300?

Also, the Trek 4500 comes with a RockShox Judy TT fork. There
is a website that talks about a recall on RockShox Judy TT forks:
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml01/01011.html

At this website it says: "RockShox received 23 reports of compression
rods in these forks breaking, and two reports of injuries."

Should I be concerned if I intend to purchase the Trek 4500?

Please respond ASAP. Thank you.

The recall was issued 6 years ago. I am certain that the problem has been taken care of. Additionally, the Trek 4300 does not come with the forks mentioned in the recall.

This recall was issued 5 years ago. Like above, I am also certain that the problem has been taken care of.

Generally speaking, by the time a recall is issued, the manufacturer will have already made some kind of design change to address the issue so new bikes should not be impacted. However, if you are considering purchasing an older or used bike then you will want to pay attention to the model and year of the component.
