Yeah I always see their combo lockring wrench/chain whip tool going for like $15-$20 on eBay when it's available on their website for $10.

It's been established how much I dislike them. And they're a mere 5-min. walk from my apt. Boycott NYCBikes!

the excitement of bidding is obviously worth the extra 20 bones, duh.
Spring is here, and with it all of the fair-weather-riders (no offense to you FWRs). The "in" thing is to build a fixed bike. I'd wager that most of those people are surfing ebay and ebay only to get their gear, since most LBS in mid-america don't carry much, if any, track stuff...

I will have to auction off some more free faces punches for a BIN price of $30 in order to offer more excitement for ebay junkies...

ebay is great for selling stuff, i mean look at this :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7147031227&ssPageName=ADME:B:ON:UK:4
my mates selling it...its rubbish. i mean, really ****.
and people are bidding so much!
its easy to bid to much though, ive done it myself. ive ended up with lots of stuff i dont need just because i was bored and using ebay.
If I ever sell anything on eBay, I'll remember to write that it's "amazing" at least a dozen times.

Ebay is nuts sometimes, my friend sold his Cyclops track frame the other day in someting like 4 hours, and for a decent price too. I can only hope I have as much sucess with the Shimano 600 quill pedals do as well; of course I'll be sure to use amazing as much as possible. Also I think I'll mention that messengers use these kind of pedals on their fixed gears, that seems to be a big selling point on ebay.

title them 'track shimano 600 quil pedals , messenger, courier, triathalon!'

I gave up ebay, I am one of those people who pays to much because I am "ignorant."
Well I've learned my lesson when buying: cranks, frames, and wheelsets...

Ebay rocks! I once sold an empty 2 liter of Dr. Pepper for $2.75US ! the shipping came to $4.25CA but buyer paid a total of $7.00US so they wouldn't have to figure out the exchange rate.
18 cent listing turned to 7 big ones in the ol paypal acct. The most work I had to do was stomp on the bottle til it was small enough to ship cheap, put it in bag tape it shut and address it. It went to the post ofice on my regular trip. 10 minutes, $7.00US, not as much as I'd like to make but not bad either!!

well. when i was newer to ebay i sold feedback for a buy it now of 3.00. i sold 14. hahahah people with about 6 feedback would buy them up thinking it was the cheapest way to establish credibility. i would just make the auction link private in their feedback . ebay eventually contacted me and told me to cut thatt **** out. it was fun while it lasted. and i got 14 feedback and 42 bucks lol.
Old bottles or cans of crystal pepsi go for a good amount on ebay... but I can see the demand.

A long, long time ago - near the birth of Ebay - I sold a ham sandwich that went into the mid-20s. The question-and-answer part was a lot of fun!
