Bicycle Mechanics - Can I put a 20mm wide tire on a 15mm rim?

According to Sheldons table 23 mm tire is the narrowest tire to put on a 15 mm rim. You risk pinch flats and rim damage from road hazards, so dont do it unless you are a light weight.

Pump em up hard and go for it. wide rims mean crisp handling. (Yes, narrow rims reduce pinch flats a bit, but have you had one?)
