I just bought a nice lighted vest for night riding.. I like riding at night and find that this makes it just a little safer.. The vest has velcro at the waist for great adjustments for different sizes.. It has flashing and steady mode.. Got mine for 14.00 shipped.. what a deal.. Just wanted to pass this on

Sweet deal! When you get it, let us know how long the batteries last.

This looks like a great deal. I have a pretty long commute, which means many miles in the dark. I try to light up as much as possible, and have been looking for a vest for summer riding in the dark. This looks like it would be perfect. I bid on the one posted in the link, hope I get it!

That doesn't look very bright.

It's brighter than it looks.. The vest has full reflective tape front and back + the flashing lights also on front and back.. I figure anything like this for under 20.00 is a great deal..

I just wanted to pass this deal along.. The people were easy to deal with, I bought it a week ago and received it 2 days after I paid.. So overall good service..

Ersatz vest from local Big-5 sporin' n' huntin' store - $10 or so

Tape from bikie shop - $7 at most

Tape + vest = priceless!

I can tell you, driving a cage, ANY vest is a big advantage!!!! Bikers wearing avg. drab clothing and no lights/reflectors/bright colors are hard to see, and it gets much worse at the light level goes down. The most hokey dimestore vest is a huge advantage over none.

This is one huge advantage of a helmet I think, if they're a light color they look kinda coppish (not coppi-ish, coppish) and you get a bit of driver's attention, they tend to even if only subconsciously, add you into the equation. Vests help even more - you're seen, and drivers take you into account.
