Nashbar used to sell boxes of 100 patches, but no glue or anything else. since i have dozens of glue tubes and lots of sandpaper, i'd like to get a buttload of patches.

anyone know who sells costco-sized boxes of patches?

your local tire shop will prolly be happy to sell you a box of patches. we would anytime someone asked when my dad had his shop.

I don't know about a buttload of patches, but here on the west coast, Orchard Supply Hardware sells Slime brand patch kits that includes 20-1 inch patches, 4-1x2 inch patches, a large 3 inch patch and 2- .41oz tubes of glue for a wopping $2.95

Just take an old tube and cut it up into 100 small pieces. Voila! 100 small patches.

seconded - the headaches patches give compared to rubber cement, inner tube piece and a couple of clothes pegs, well......

hey, thanx for all the replies. i'm going with that bike tools, etc. racket.

i've always thought that vulcanizing was better for higher pressure tires than rubber cement. i suppose you need the clothes pegs to hold the "patch" on until it dries. or maybe you just put them on your ears to make your kids laugh while you fix your tires.

oops, i just realized that these patches are "self vulcanizing." anybody have any experience with that? sounds a little iffy.
