You can get that bike for around $2350 USD. at Supergo......... I think the cheapest Hollowpoint they have is around 1300 or so. Not sure though.....

You can't get it or any other decent full suspension bike for even twice what you're thinking of paying. You'd better take a look at the "$500 bike" thread.

Go to http://www.supergo.com and look there. That will tell you exactly how much the bikes are since Iron Horse is a SuperGo proprietary brand.

Iron Horse rocks. DW-link rocks. MkIII rocks. Yada yada yada.

I'm in the process of replacing my '03 Iron Horse Hollowpoint with a new MkIII. If you want to educate yourself, follow some of the links below.

Dave Weagle is a certified friggin genius, and his sh1t works. It is hands down the best combination of active, stable and zero feedback with no reliance on bandaid SPV or CV/T shocks. Climbs like a goat, doesn't bob, always supple. The new dw-link design on the MkIII improves on the Hollowpoint with better suspension performance under braking and through the use of a longer stroke shock to reduce pressures needed for us bigger boys.

Iron Horse has been really responsive as a bike company. Their product manager maintains a great online presence on some of the mountain bike forums, deal with the consumer directly, and their warranty department was top notch with some problem frames back in early '03.

The IH frame design and constrction has really impressed me this year, and they're supposedly manufacturing two of their designs as optional "Factory" domestically produced framesets.

My feeling is IH is sort of where Giant was in 2001, emerging after a facelift with some serious product (except it seems Iron Horse hasn't got Giant's marketing budget).

Here are some cool links:
