Ok heres the deal, around 5 years ago, when I was like 9 years old, I got a bike for Christmas. It was the powerlite p-38. When I was looking for a bike, I came across one of the powerlite catalog things, and I noticed that the powerlite p-38 looked a lot different. The powerlite p-38 in the catalog was yellow, and was more like a moutain bike. My bike is dark purple, and is like a regular bmx bike. (I think)

I searched on the internet, but all that came up was the yellow moutain bike thing. So I got suspcious that maybe the bike dealer just put together a bike from spare parts, and slapped a powerlite sticker on it. Now, the bike dealer is my Mom's boss's husband... so I don't know if he would sell me a fake bike, but you can never be too sure in todays world.

So, does anybody know if there was 2 models of powerlite p-38 bikes? or did this guy rip me off.


I'll try to get a hold of my dads digital camera and take some pics of it.

it was probably a newer model and a different color
