Hey guys I am new to this forum and mtn biking. My commuter bike died earlier today, so i decided to buy a new (used) bike. It is a 1999 Fisher Big Sur, and I got it for 220, did i get ripped off? Is there anything in particular that i should know about this bike, upgrades, etc. Anyway just saying hi to the forum. Attatched is the pic of the bike.

it's a pretty bike, and I just happen to be on the GF website. I see an 05 goes for $1430.00, so I'm guessing that even 6 years old it's still a pretty sweet ride. I don't know anything in particular about that bike, but I like my fisher.

Thats a good deal for sure. Sick looking bike too, I like mismatched colors (you should see mine).
