Alright, so I have decided to get rid of that dyno I have that I had posted. It ain't doin it for me. But I am not giving up on bmx. So I've upped my budget to $150-ish. I understand it's still low but I figure I can get a decent starter used for that. So I've been scanning ebay and pinkbike and this is what I've found:
From Haro:

I am really rather clueless about bmx, though. Any help would be greatly appreaciated and if you have any other suggestions besides which one of these is the best I would appreciate that too. Also, could I bother you to list a second choice as well in case I get outbid? Thanks.

That general lee on pinkbike looks really nice. I don't know about the same one on ebay... I hate sellers that use all caps, and the condition sounds like it's 'iffy'.
I didn't really look at the other ones, tbh :p
out of those I'd go for the Nyquist haro or the schwinn.
the first Haro in your list might not be bad either. it says the frame is 21 inches and it that's true, get that. some of those are 20 inch top tube bikes. I am pretty sure the Nyquist is 20.5 though.
it is going to be hard to determine the frame size by asking the seller though. most think they are 20 inche bikes because of the wheel size. to someone that doesn't know, they all look the same.....

That first haro is only a 20inch frame, my friend bought that frame and we had to dremmel out the droputs because for some reason there were only 13mm I used my calipers to mesure, so if you get that first haro all i can say is your gonna hve to dremmel the drop outs if you get a new wheel set and as for the brakes on it tektro brakes are horrible, i got a set of em when i had my redline complete and they broke the first day.
I had Tektro brakes and they worked as well as any other set of brakes I've had.
if you take care of your bike, they last a lot longer....

I dont see a nyquist there. I would go with the gen lee on ebay personally. I wouldnt spend more than $100, especially since shipping is about $50 and you said your budget is $150. Ask the seller for all the specifics on the bike and post them.
eh. I'm an idiot, I ment the Mirra.....

alright, well I am trying to email as many of the people as possible and find the top tube length. I've been asking for that specifically. so I got two votes for a general lee, one for a mirra and one for a schwinn. I will email those guys first off. Can I assume I shouldn't put time into the others then?
:edit: I was informed the top tube length of the specialized was 19". That haro 540 seems alright to me. I am just wondering what turned other people off about it? And that mirra just look really beat up to me, more so than the rest. That's not a problem?

yeah, I was looking at the other one, that green haro. The top link. Yeah sorry about the misunderstanding, I'm talkin' outta my ***** over here. I so wish that guy on pinkbike would email me back, atleast letting me know if he still has the thing. The general lee on ebay: the guy told me "it's mostly dk stuff" and didn't give me a top tube measurement
most people don't know how to measure the top tube anyways so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

good point, alright then. I really wish that guy from pinkbike would email me back. I sent him an email from two different accounts. I was thinking hotmail didn't like gmail, now I am just guessing he got rid of it already and just doesn't feel like replying to everybody.

The Mirra 540 is the only one recommended left that is close to my price range. I lost the others. Anyway, I guess I'll just keep looking. Thanks for the help.

Have you looked at local shops? Some of them may carry used bikes you can get a deal on. My DK was used, and it cost roughly half what it would have new.
