I have a decent px-10 that I found at a garage sale last year. I think I gave $5 for it. I didnt know what it was at the time, just that it was my size. I havent done anything with it due to someone put the wrong stem in the steertube and now it is hoplessly and forever stuck.
Today I found a sturmey archer aw 3 speed hub in good condition and I would like to build it to use in this frame.most of my riding around town is flat, and I only use one or two gears anyway, and I was thinking singlespeed for simplicity, but after finding this hub,any good reason not to do it?
the bike has the original stronglite cranks and headset,a campy bottom bracket, and nothing else at this point. someone swaped the mafacs for dia comps and the derailliuers were cheap shimano units,so there gone now.
since I am a big guy,and this is a lightweight frame, would it hold up to casual riding? mostly rail trail and to the grocery store, etc. thanks
