Hey everyone, Im looking to buy a mountain bike, IVe owned a specialized before(not a mountain bike), so Im sort of leaning towards them, knowing they are of good quality. I don't know much about them, Soft tail, hard tail. I weigh about 250lbs, and im about 5'11. Im looking to spend under $1000, and I was looking at ebay for used ones. I was looking at the full suspension bikes, I like the enduro. Can someone give me some advise on a good bike for someone my size.
Thanks
JD

What type of riding are you planning on doing with it? If your planning on Doing XC, then a hardtail would be best, if you want to do all mountain and light freeride, an enduro is a good choice..

Either way, you cant go wrong with specialized :D

Since your bigger look for something with stiffer springs in the fork, or get the Enduro and replace the stock fork springs with some stiffer ones. You're looking for a softtail... but another good choice is the Kona Hoss. Im sure pwrdbytrd will agree with me on this one. :)
